Ultimate Fight Night 16 Fight for the troops turned out to be more than anyone could expect. This card was the best free card I have ever seen by any promotion by far. Not only did every fighter come to fight but the classic finishes were top notch MMA at it's Best. Josh Koscheck put on a great striking display with a first round KO over Yoshiyuki Yoshida .
Mike "Quick" Swick also lived up to his name with several lightning quick shots to stop Jonathan Goulet in his tracks just seconds into the first round.Former WEC Light Heavyweight Champion Steve Cantwell looked impressive in his UFC debut against fellow newcomer Razak Al Hassan. The end came near the end of Round 1 when Cantwell trapped Al Hassan in an armbar and broke his arm, causing Mario Yamasaki to stop the match and declare a TKO. The replay was NASTY, as you see Al Hassan's arm snap and fold back at least 45 degrees in the wrong direction. Why he didn't simply tap is anyone's guess, but now he has a destroyed elbow for his trouble. Click Here for full story

George St.Pierre, the current UFC Welterweight champion. Some consider him to be the best pound for pound fighter in the World because of his well rounded skills and the way he controls all competition in his weight class. St Pierre is known to be one of the top if not best wrestler in the UFC with credible wins in which he took wrestler Matt Hughes and National champion wrestler Josh Koscheck down at will. Pierre also known for his relentlessness and great stamina can push the pace at will at any time.
Georges St. Pierre holds strong wins over many MMA veterans such as Judo specialist Karo Parisyan, Sean Sherk, BJ Penn, two wins over Matt Hughes and a win over Matt Serra. His only two losses are to Hughes and Serra, although he redeemed his losses by defeating both fighters . His loss to Matt Serra asked questions of St.Pierre, which he soon answered in a dominating rematch where he won by TKO in the 2ND round. He has seemed to beat every contender in the Welterweight division thus far and has proved to everyone by his most recent pummeling over top ranked contender Jon Fitch whom he dominated at UFC 87 in august. The most important thing about the record of St.Pierre is the fact that all of his losses have been redeemed.
If St. Pierre defeats BJ Penn you expect Dana White and the UFC to come up with another great show that could top the rateings. I dont know about you" but Georges St. Pierre vs Anderson "The Spider" Silva sounds pretty good to me.
