Renato "Babalu" Sobral came into Strikeforce with only one thing on his mind "The Light Heavyweight Championship. Sobral opened up a large cut over the eye of opponent Bobby Southworth in the first round with a solid elbow strike. Due to Referee stoppage and a Doctors decision , the fight ended only one round in with a TKO victory awarded to Sobral.
